Summer has been a busy period with increased workloads and a higher level of inspections of all types. There has been some slowing of this in recent weeks but activity is rising again with the push towards Christmas.

The residential property market continues to struggle in the immediate area, although improvement in activity has been seen along the south coast. There remains a lack of properties available for purchase in some areas and a reluctance of buyers to enter the market.

Values remain sensitive and deals can fall through at small margins of difference.

Video Inspection

We are now able to offer video inspection reports either using a standard video camera or, our latest purchase, a flexible access camera with a 20mm diameter camera. These images can be filmed in colour and stored electronically. The camera has proved useful in gaining access to small voids to inspect aspects and identify defects and obstacles in otherwise concealed spaces.
